Chewllagen 10" Chicken Roll
Chewllagen is a dog treat made from the collogen extracted from South American grass-fed cattle hide. The collagen proteins are hydrolysed and broken down through a heating process into the smaller and more easily digestible molecules.
The collagen is then shaped and baked where it acquires its bread like texture before beef dipped in real beef or chicken.
Consisting of mainly type 1 and type 3 collagen, Chewllagen stimulates cartilage production, cushioning joints and reducing joint pain.
Not only does it aid your dog's recovery after a long walk but it also improves their muscular strength and power. In addition, Chewllagen also improves the gut health of your dog, making it a healthy choice.
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and has many important functions, including the growth and repair of bones, tendons, ligaments, skin and fur.
As animals age, they produce less and lower quality collagen
The Treatery – Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: 23 Aug 2026
At The Treatery, we want you and your dog to be completely happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to put things right.
This policy applies to purchases made through The Treatery online shop.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Changing Your Mind
If you purchase eligible goods from us online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without having to give a reason.
After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at:
Email: thetreateryatbarks@gmail.com
Please include your order number and tell us which item(s) you wish to return.
Goods should be returned in an unused and resaleable condition, with their original packaging where reasonably possible.
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods when cancelling an order because you have changed your mind, unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
We may make a deduction from your refund if goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality and their value has consequently been reduced.
2. Products That Cannot Normally Be Returned Because You Have Changed Your Mind
Some products are excluded from the usual 14-day cancellation right because of their nature.
These may include: Fresh or perishable dog cakes, pupcakes, treats or other food products that may deteriorate or expire quickly.
Products made specifically to your requirements or clearly personalised for you, including personalised cakes, treats or gifts.
Sealed products which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been opened.
Any other products which are legally exempt from the statutory cancellation right. Where a product is excluded from the right to cancel, this will be made clear in the product description wherever appropriate.
These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.
3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items. If your item arrives damaged, faulty, defective, unsafe, incorrect or is not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
Your order number
Details of the problem
Photographs of the item and packaging where appropriate
We may ask you to return the item so that we can inspect it.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
If goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract, your statutory rights apply regardless of whether the item is eligible for return because you have simply changed your mind.
4. Items Damaged During Delivery
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If an item has been damaged during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
We will investigate the issue with the delivery provider and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
For food products, please do not consume or give a product to your dog if you believe it has been damaged, contaminated or is otherwise unsafe.
5. Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will normally refund the payment method originally used to place the order.
For eligible cancellations, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods and the cost of standard delivery.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered.
We will normally issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or, where applicable, within 14 days of receiving evidence that you have returned them.
We may wait to issue a refund until the goods have been returned or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
6. Returning Goods
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the reasonable cost of returning unwanted goods.
Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Please package returned goods securely. We cannot be responsible for goods that are damaged or lost while being returned to us where you have arranged the return yourself.
We recommend obtaining proof of postage.
7. Food and Treat Products
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of food products that have been opened, used or consumed where they are not faulty.
Fresh or perishable products, including certain cakes, pupcakes and other made-to-order food products, may not be eligible for cancellation once they have been supplied because of their perishable nature.
If you believe a food product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, contaminated or otherwise not as described, please contact us immediately. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Personalised and Made-to-Order Products
Products made specifically to your requirements or personalised for you may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun or the product has been supplied.
This may include personalised cakes, biscuits, treats, gifts or other products made specifically to your instructions.
If a personalised or made-to-order product is faulty, damaged or not made in accordance with your agreed requirements, please contact us and we will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.
9. Sale Items
Sale and promotional items have the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.
A reduced price does not remove your legal rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
10. Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges for unwanted goods.
If you have changed your mind about an eligible item, you can return it in accordance with this policy and place a new order for the item you would prefer.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
